When you dont excel as much as you had hoped, it is always an opportunity to learn from the experience and do things better.

A matric qualification is your green card to further development and growth, doing your best is always to your advantage.

If you are not successful at first, the important aspect is to focus on trying again. It is important not to be discouraged or lose hope, but rather to seek positivity and push for great results.

Re-doing your Matric is also an option you can take if you feel the results dont reflect your potential. You can always rewrite your Matric and stand a better chance of getting exceptional study and job opportunities. It is also vitally important to have knowledge about the Matric pass requirements and be prepared to meet them.

Lets take a look at the options available to improve your Matric:

How can I re-do my matric year?

You can contact your school to explore your options to enroll with them or transfer to another school. You can also pursue your matric privately through education institutions like Intec.

Can I re-do my matric at a TVET College?

If you are not successful with your Matric you can still gain access to a TVET college to gain a
Grade 12 equivalent trade-based qualification known as the National Certificate Vocational.

This qualification will gain you entry into career fields such Engineering, Tourism and Hospitality, Management and Early Childhood Development etc.

What about getting your Matric through distance learning?
