ICB: Certified Senior Bookkeeper CSBIcb (SA) - Agent Programme A Certified Senior Bookkeeper will be able to complete the monthly bookkeeping function as well as the annual accounting function.
In addition to all the functions and tasks set out for the Junior Bookkeeper, he / she will also be competent in year-end accounting excluding the finalisation of business and personal income tax returns and will also be able to complete basic management accounts and have a working knowledge of cost accounting.

Entrance Requirement Students must be at least 16 years of age.
Course Duration You should be able to complete this course within 18 months.

Assessment You are required to submit written assignments and write 1 formal exam per subject. To qualify to write these exams you must be registered with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). PLEASE NOTE: Your enrolment with INTEC does not include the registration with ICB. Please contact the Institute for details on exam registration, dates and registration fees.
Award Once you have completed the Certified Senior Bookkeeper Course which entitles you to be awarded the designation, you are required to register with the ICB and pay all the necessary fees. Once this has happened, the ICB will issue Membership Certificates indicating the level of membership and designation. These will be valid until the 31 January of each year and renewable upon payment of annual subscriptions.
Accreditation The Certified Senior Bookkeeper is accredited by the ICB.
